The Nature Of Man.

The natural course of life is to decay. Nature degenerates. One thing is certain above all else in life, we will all die! It is impossible for anything in this life to live forever! From all perspectives, in every example life dies.

A man may start out with a high standard, a goodly goal and wonderful aim but in time, if indeed he can keep these, he himself will pass away and in time the standards he set will fall, his goal will be ditched for an easier one and His wonderful aim will be turned to greed and bad intent. This is evidently a Historical trend of human endeavor. This is natural life leading its own course. We can trust men but in time they will let us down or pass on. We can trust ideologies but in time they will become irrelevant. We can trust in traditions but in time we will find that they are empty and powerless.

I Am His Sheep.

Psalm 23
1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of min
e enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law

“against such there is is no law” – There is no law against these things. There will be be no law against these things. (Sermon notes)

Genesis 1
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
