Life.

In Christ we are offered life. A wonderful life. A life of peace, a life of assurance, a life of hope, joy and satisfaction. A life of love. The holy, almighty, creator God loves me. He loves me more than words could describe. God himself loves me and cares for me. He has ransomed me and pardoned me. He has washed me whiter than snow and put a song in my heart. We never need to worry and never need to fear so long as our eyes and feet are towards Jesus. HE IS LIFE!!! JESUS IS LIFE!!

When Peter walked on the water it was a stormy sea. The waves were tossing the whole boat, but as Peter kept his eyes and feet toward Jesus that storm could not touch Him! If we keep our eyes and feet on Jesus this life cannot touch us! The storms will come. Hard times, testing times, persecution and pain… They will come but Christ is our rock, our shelter, our shield, our hiding place… etc God Himself is our father and a friend who sticks closer than a brother. HE IS LIFE!!! JESUS IS LIFE!!

It’s such a blessing to spend even just 5 – 10 minutes considering/meditating on the goodness of God and the promises that he has made to those who continue to seek Him in spirit and in truth. What a wonderful, precious Saviour!! Hallelujah! Praise His name forever! Psalm 145:1-2 “I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name forever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name forever and ever.”

John 14
6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Matthew 14
28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

John 10
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
11
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

Matthew 7
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

2 Timothy 3
12
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Matthew 5
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
